Karnataka HC directs State Bar Council to create digital system to identify advocates practising illegally without clearing AIBE
The Karnataka High Court ordered the State Bar Council to develop an online platform that will detect lawyers who are practising without having passed the All India Bar Examination. The directive aims to ensure compliance with the requirement that every advocate clear the AIBE before appearing before courts, and to curb illegal practice of law in the state.
