Arrange special flights to bring back Umrah pilgrims: Owaisi urges Centre
AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has called on the Indian government to organise special flights for Umrah pilgrims stranded abroad. He said many of the pilgrims are from low‑income families and cannot afford to buy new tickets on Saudi carriers to return home. Owaisi urged the Centre to intervene promptly to facilitate their safe immediate repatriation.
