Action plan to modernise Kakinada Fishing Harbour, Kumbabhishekam fish landing point
The district collector, M.N. Harendhira Prasad, has directed the Maritime Board and fisheries authorities to develop an action plan aimed at upgrading the Kakinada Fishing Harbour and the nearby Kumbabhishekam fish landing site. The proposal seeks to improve infrastructure, enhance safety standards and boost efficiency for local fishing operations, with officials tasked to submit the plan shortly.
