Tadoba tiger reserve introduces sensor-based system to manage wildlife waterholes

India’s Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve has installed an automated sensor system to control water pumps at its wildlife waterholes. The technology monitors water levels and activates or deactivates pumps without human intervention, aiming to maintain optimal water availability for animals. Reserve officials say the initiative is the first of its kind in Indian wildlife management.
