YSRCP leaders placed under house arrest in Kadapa district on first day of ZPTC, MPTC nominations
On the opening day of Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) nominations, authorities placed several YSR Congress Party leaders under house arrest in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. The move coincided with an incident in Thottambedu mandal of Tirupati district where a YSRCP candidate’s motorcycle was reportedly set ablaze. Police are investigating the incidents.
