Keralam on high alert as rain intensifies; IMD sounds orange alert for four districts on October 22
Kerala has raised its alert level as rainfall intensifies across the state. The Indian Meteorological Department issued an orange warning for four districts on Oct. 22, covering the eastern Ghats, southern Kerala and parts of Central Travancore. Overnight downpours led to widespread waterlogging, disrupting daily activities and prompting authorities to monitor the situation closely in the region.
