Airbnb bans making guests do dishes and take out the trash
Airbnb announced a new rule that prevents hosts from obligating guests to perform household chores, specifically washing dishes or taking out the trash. Under the policy, hosts must provide cleaning services themselves or incorporate the cost into a cleaning fee. The change is intended to standardize guest expectations and improve the overall rental experience across the platform.
