TDB under fire from employees’ union over Sabarimala road repair delay
Employees of the Travancore Devaswom board have accused the Tamil Nadu Development Board of postponing approval for the Public Works Department to fix a 4.5‑kilometre section of the Pampa‑Chalakkayam road. The delay has led to ongoing traffic congestion since the Sabarimala temple reopened for its monthly puja season on 17 October 2026. The union blames the board for the prolonged disruption.
