Jamboo Savari brings curtains on Mysuru Dasara
At the conclusion of Mysuru’s Dasara celebrations, the Jamboo Savari procession featured a 54‑year‑old elephant named Prashanth bearing the traditional golden howdah, while veteran elephant Abhimanyu served as the Nishane Ane. The parade included eight additional adorned elephants, each led by its mahout, creating a grand finale that marked the festival’s end. The mahouts guided the animals through Mysuru’s streets, drawing large crowds.
