SCR running 700-plus special trains to handle Dasara, Diwali and Chhath Puja rush
South Central Railway has scheduled more than 700 special trains to accommodate passenger surges during the Dasara, Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals. The railway is also adding additional ticket counters at congested stations, installing automatic ticket vending machines, and deploying female staff members to help women travelers. These measures aim to ease crowding and improve service during the holiday period.
