Marco Rubio arrives in Jamnagar to visit Reliance refinery
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio traveled to Jamnagar in Gujarat to tour Reliance Industries’ large refinery complex. The trip comes after his recent statements highlighting India’s strong oil‑refining capabilities and urging the country to increase processing of Venezuelan crude. Officials said the visit aims to discuss energy cooperation and potential investment opportunities. Indian officials welcomed him, noting the plant is among the world’s biggest single‑location refineries.
