Integrated control room for rain-related complaints opened in Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur and Tiruvannamalai
An integrated control centre for rain‑related grievances has been launched in Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur and Tiruvannamalai districts. The facility will coordinate responses to flooding and related issues. Authorities have advised villagers along the Palar River in Vellore to refrain from crossing the waterway, and residents in flood‑prone zones to move to government‑run shelters or other safer locations away from the banks.
