J.C. Daniel International Film City in Kochi: Expansive studio floors, entertainment zone, exhibition centre among facilities on the anvil
The Kerala government has identified three revenue‑land parcels in Ernakulam district for the J.C. Daniel International Film City project, a new film‑studio complex announced in the 2026‑27 state budget to support Malayalam cinema. Planned amenities include large studio floors, an entertainment zone, an exhibition centre and other related facilities, aiming to boost regional film production and tourism.
