Kashmir clerics, including Mirwaiz, say eviction of Delhi’s historic Race Course mosque ‘deeply disturbing’
Kashmir religious leaders, among them the prominent Mirwaiz, condemned the removal of the historic Race Course mosque in Delhi, describing it as deeply unsettling. They warned that if a legally recognised place of worship can be displaced, the protection of other mosques is uncertain. The clerics called for stronger safeguards for religious sites and community cohesion.
