Newsprint makers seek PM Modi's intervention over coal shortages, demand 75:25 allocation ratio
The Indian newsprint industry has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting his help to resolve coal shortages that are affecting production. The manufacturers asked that coal be dispatched promptly under current fuel supply contracts with subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, and they proposed a 75:25 split in allocation between them and other users.
