Dussehra celebrated in Belagavi
Residents of Belagavi marked Dussehra with traditional rituals, as members of the Patil family from the city's historic quarter conducted a puja. The ceremony featured the arrival of several palanquins bearing revered icons, including representations of Venkatramna, Maruti, Jotiba and the symbolic Aapti tree. The event highlighted local cultural customs during the festival for the celebration.
