There is no official XScreenSaver GitHub repository
Developers and users of the XScreenSaver screensaver collection have discovered that there is no sanctioned repository for the project on GitHub. While several forks exist, none are maintained by the original author, leading to uncertainty about where to obtain official updates or report issues. The lack of an official source has prompted discussion on the project's distribution and maintenance.
