Temple plea for elephant procession: Kerala HC says SC-fixed registration deadline can’t be extended by HC or govt
The Kerala High Court ruled that the deadline for filing a registration, set by the Supreme Court, cannot be lengthened by either the High Court or the state government. Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas said that without a Supreme Court extension, it would be improper for the High Court to order a delayed registration or entertain a request for additional time.
