MicroG: Free-libre re-implementation of Google's proprietary Android user space
MicroG is an open-source project that replicates the functionality of Google’s proprietary Android user-space components, such as Play Services, without using Google’s closed code. It enables Android devices to run apps that depend on Google APIs while preserving user privacy and allowing distribution on platforms that forbid proprietary software. The initiative is community-driven and freely licensed.
