India, Bangladesh discuss cultural cooperation during ‘Nazrul Borsho’
India’s High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi met Bangladesh’s Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury on September 6 to review cultural ties. The officials highlighted the longstanding shared heritage and agreed to expand cooperation in arts, literature and festivals. Their talks coincided with the ‘Nazrul Borsho’ celebrations, marking the centenary of poet Kazi Nazrul Islam’s birth and cultural exchange programs.
