Kochi Metro’s Pink Line stations to showcase Keralam’s cultural heritage
Kerala’s Kochi Metro is adding a Pink Line extension to Kakkanad, comprising eleven stations that will each highlight a different aspect of the state’s cultural legacy. The designs will draw on local art forms such as traditional cartoons, handloom weaving, classical dance-drama Kathakali, the martial art Kalaripayattu and the ritual performance Theyyam, and celebrate regional identity.
