Unconstitutional SIR must be stopped, all illegitimately deleted voters must be restored: Congress
Congress has called for an end to the Supreme Court‑ordered SIR, demanding that voters incorrectly removed from the electoral roll be reinstated. Party member Jairam Ramesh posted a screenshot of a report indicating that around 100 voters from two polling stations in Delhi’s Okhla constituency were mistakenly marked as absent. The party says the practice is unconstitutional and illegal.
