Over 2,000 attend TAUK’s handloom-themed Bathukamma, Dasara celebrations in London
Over 2,000 people gathered in London for a handloom‑focused Bathukamma and Dasara event organized by the Telangana Association of United Kingdom. Founder Anil Kurmachalam urged support for Telangana’s cultural heritage and its handloom industry. The celebration featured traditional performances, exhibitions of hand‑woven textiles, including folk dances, music and culinary stalls, and aimed to raise awareness among the diaspora.
