Elaborate arrangements made for Teppotsavam in Vijayawada on October 20
Authorities in Vijayawada have prepared extensive measures for the Teppotsavam celebration scheduled for Oct. 20. Police officers and trained swimmers will be stationed at the Krishna River’s bathing ghats to ensure safety for the public. The festival, which was called off in 2024 and 2025 because of flooding, is set to proceed this year under heightened security.
