BMC removes over 52,000 unauthorised banners, posters in Mumbai since January
Since January, Mumbai’s municipal corporation has taken down more than 52,000 illegal advertisements such as banners, posters and flags. In a focused operation from Oct. 8 to Oct. 16, officials confiscated roughly 3,537 additional unauthorized displays, including boards and signage, as part of an effort to clear the city’s public spaces. The campaign aims to enforce city regulations and reduce visual clutter.
