Bengal govt. to be custodian of ‘enemy properties’: Adhikari
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that the central government will appoint West Bengal as custodian of all 'enemy properties' in the state. The revenue from these assets will be used to finance development projects. The statement followed the first BIMSTEC home ministers’ meeting in Delhi, where the state’s role was highlighted. This move aims to streamline asset management and boost local infrastructure.
