Tiruvannamalai Corporation installs specially designed bins to collect PET bottles
Tiruvannamalai Municipal Corporation has deployed newly designed collection bins across the city to gather PET plastic bottles. The initiative aims to improve waste segregation and boost recycling rates, reducing litter and environmental impact. Officials say the bins feature distinct compartments for easy sorting, and the program will be monitored for effectiveness before possible expansion in the near term.
