SBI resolves ST-status hurdle for Arunachal Christians
State Bank of India has fixed a software error that prevented Christian applicants in Arunachal Pradesh from choosing the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category on its portal. The glitch had barred them from accessing benefits tied to ST status. The Arunachal Christian Forum praised the correction, saying it restores eligibility for the community. The bank said the issue is now resolved.
