Projects exclusively for SC/ST development formed just 0.18% of KIIFB’s total outlay: expert committee
An expert committee reviewing the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) found that projects dedicated solely to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe development accounted for just 0.18% of the board’s approved budget and 0.21% of the funds actually released. The panel highlighted the minimal share of resources directed toward these targeted initiatives. The findings raise concerns about the effectiveness of the fund’s social equity objectives.
