Kapra Lake set for revival with farmers’ support
The Kapra Lake restoration project is moving forward as local farmers voluntarily transferred 70 acres within its Full Tank Level zone. The Hyderabad Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HYDRAA) will invest ₹35 crore to rejuvenate the 112.8‑acre wetland, which serves as an important stopover for migratory birds. The initiative aims to improve water quality and biodiversity.
