Keralam’s Kattappana municipality calls ‘Spider-Man’ into action to raise awareness about waste management
The Kattappana municipality in Kerala has erected a twelve‑foot sculpture resembling Spider‑Man outside its office. Constructed entirely from plastic bottles and other recyclable waste collected at local bottle booths, the installation aims to highlight the town’s waste‑management efforts and encourage residents to recycle. Officials say the figure serves as a visual reminder of proper disposal practices.
