Five workers killed, many injured in blast at chemical unit in Gujarat’s Bharuch
A blast at a chemical plant in Bharuch, Gujarat, killed five workers and injured several others, officials said. The explosion, believed to have happened during a hydrogenation operation, tore the reactor tank apart and scattered equipment across the site. Local magistrate Manisha Manani described the force of the blast, and emergency services are attending to the casualties.
