Jaishankar to meet Rubio, UAE Foreign Minister, in back-to-back separate visits in Mumbai next week
India’s External Affairs Minister, P. S. Jaishankar, will travel to Mumbai next week for back‑to‑back meetings with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah. The Ministry said hosting foreign leaders in cities other than New Delhi is routine and that the UAE visit was unplanned. Opposition critics called the summons a political move, but officials dismissed the claim.
