Installation of critical equipment begins in Unit No.1 of Polavaram hydel power project
Construction of essential machinery has started in Unit No.1 of the Polavaram hydroelectric project, officials said. The work on the power house is being sped up to have six units operational before the Godavari Pushkaram festival begins next year. The acceleration aims to meet anticipated electricity demand and support regional development. The project, located in Andhra Pradesh, is expected to boost power supply for the state.
