Telangana CM ready for probe into imported coal deal, leaves choice of inquiry to KTR
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao said he will allow an investigation into the state’s imported coal contract, delegating the decision on the type of inquiry to his deputy K. T. Rama Rao. Rao claimed the ruling BRS party tried to sideline the Singareni Coal Company from supplying Yadadri power plants and raised concerns over the project’s cost rising to about ₹37,781 crore.
