Stern action against those spreading misinformation on social media during polls, says Vizianagaram SP
The senior police officer in Vizianagaram district announced that authorities will take strict action against anyone spreading false information on social media during the election period. He said that roughly 20,000 individuals have already been bound over the matter, according to SP A.R. Damodar. The directive is part of a broader effort to preserve poll integrity, with detainees processed under applicable legal provisions.
