Pinarayi Vijayan moves SC against HC order to lodge FIR in CMRL bribery case
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging a Kerala High Court directive that ordered the lodging of a first‑information report in the alleged CMRL bribery case. His counsel, Sidharth Luthra, requested an urgent hearing before a bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, stating that an FIR has already been filed.
