Eight women with hearing‑impairments in Malappuram have launched a venture called “Colours” after finishing an assistant dress‑maker training program run by Jan Shikshan Sansthan. The initiative aims to provide them with livelihood opportunities by applying the tailoring skills they acquired, fostering economic independence and showcasing how skill development can empower marginalized groups, including Sabna V.K., Ramya A., and others.
