Eating out in Mumbai to get costlier as restaurants plan 10–15% menu price hike
Restaurants across Mumbai are preparing to increase menu prices by roughly 10 to 15 percent in the next few weeks. The hike is attributed to higher expenses for cooking gas, food ingredients, rental properties and employee wages, according to the Hotel and Restaurant Association of India. Diners can expect the new rates to be implemented shortly.
