Northeast monsoon arrives early in Tamil Nadu
The regional meteorological centre says Tamil Nadu will receive typical seasonal rainfall despite the northeast monsoon arriving ahead of schedule. Experts caution that an early start does not guarantee higher than average precipitation, and the forecast remains for normal amounts throughout the period. The RMC's projection aligns with historical patterns for this time of year, and authorities will monitor conditions for any deviations.
