Efforts on to revive Sabari rail project using State’s 50% share, says CM
The state government is pushing to revive the Sabari rail project, which had stalled after the 2023 cost estimate of ₹3,800 crore. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the state will contribute 50% of the funding, while the railways are asked to provide the remaining share. The project aims to improve connectivity in the region. Completion would link mining hubs to major ports.
