KIIFB has plunged Keralam into severe financial crisis, says Keralam Chief Minister VD. Satheesan
The Kerala Chief Minister, V. D. Satheesan, said the state faces a financial crisis after an expert committee report on the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) was presented. The report, led by former Planning Commission Secretary Sudha Pillai, found that KIIFB transactions used by the previous LDF government to fund infrastructure projects caused large losses. The government will review the report and may investigate.
