IMD forecasts heavy rain in coastal and Rayalaseema regions till October 19
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 13 districts in the coastal and Rayalaseema areas, warning of heavy rainfall until October 19. Daily maximum rainfall of 98.11 mm was recorded in Alivelumangapuram, Tirupati district. The alert urges residents to take precautions against flooding and waterlogging. The warning covers districts such as Tirupati, Chittoor, and Nellore.
