Congress govt. shirking responsibility towards sugarcane farmers, says BJP
BJP’s Raitha Morcha state chief Aminappagouda S. Patil Nadahalli accused the Congress‑led government of avoiding its duties to sugarcane growers. He argued that the state should assume about 70 % of the financial load associated with the crop’s support measures, claiming the current approach places undue strain on farmers. Patil made the remarks during a press conference in Karnataka, urging the government to allocate resources promptly.
