India, U.S. trade pact to be operationalised once India gets competitive advantage: Goyal
Trade minister Piyush Goyal stated that the India‑EU free trade agreement will be signed in December, with implementation expected in February or March of the following year. He added that the pact will become operational only after India secures a competitive advantage, ensuring the arrangement benefits Indian interests for its exporters in the global market before it is activated.
