End of Naxalism doesn't erase five decades of suffering it caused: Amit Shah
At a virtual ceremony marking the end of Naxalism, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the conflict’s five‑decade toll cannot be erased. He highlighted a disability assistance scheme held in Jagdalpur from Oct 5‑7, which reached more than 3,600 persons with disabilities, including about 1,570 in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. The scheme focuses on Maoist‑affected districts to enhance livelihood and accessibility for disabled residents.
