A.P. Transport Minister releases water into right canal of Veligallu project, urges farmers to opt for dryland crops
Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Ramprasad Reddy announced the release of water into the Veligallu project's right canal, initially at 120 cusecs, to be reduced to 80 cusecs after two weeks. He urged farmers to switch to dry‑land crops. The state administration is also preparing a plan to restore an equivalent volume through the Handri‑Neeva project.
