What is Ankita Bhandari murder case? Timeline of events and ‘VIP’ angle explained
Ankita Bhandari, a 22‑year‑old student, was found dead in Sikkim in March 2024. Her parents allege a cover‑up involving political figures, claiming the investigation was stalled. They have urged the central government to postpone the swearing‑in of Dushyant Kumar Gautam as Sikkim governor, citing the case’s “VIP” connections.
