Warrier has been named chairperson of a newly formed task force to draft DUS (Distinctness, Uniformity, Stability) testing standards for the Kumizh tree. The fast‑growing, high‑yielding species is increasingly used in industrial applications, prompting the committee to develop guidelines that ensure quality and consistency across the sector for commercial cultivation.
