TNPDCL will incur additional cost of ₹5 crore to ₹7 crore per day for purchase of gas power: Nirmal Kumar
The Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Company (TNPDCL) will incur an additional cost of between ₹5 crore and ₹7 crore each day to purchase gas‑fired power. The company plans to procure only 1,000 MW, sufficient to cover the evening peak load, for a period of 16 days from 15 October to 31 October, according to the Energy Resources Minister.
